Buyer beware. My husband had two eye exams by a doctor that retired and a new eye doctor. They both said the same thing. My husband bought glasses $500 he can not see the computer with only distance. They offered to sell him another pair of glasses to see the computer. They would not return the glasses he can not see out of. We are out $500 bucks. We got a second opinion and found the prescription glasses were way too strong. In fact his eyes have not changed at all. This company is a rip off.
The doctors were pleasant, that's the only good thing I have to say. The optician I saw was rude. When going through my glasses options, she added a bunch of expensive add-ons without asking me or explaining what they were. When she gave me the amount due, I was shocked, and asked to review all of the items, and she was very put off by that. Then, when I got home, I took a closer look at my invoice and found that she overcharged me for things my insurance paid for. When I called back, no one answered the phone, and it took 2 days for a return call. When I got on the phone with the optician, she told me she ran my insurance correctly and there was nothing she could do. When I spelled out one by one the issues, she ended up refunding my card, and that she would look into some other items and call me back. She never called back. Then, I was there for a follow-up check (to add, the optician scheduled me with the wrong doctor, even after I specifically asked to see the same one I previously saw) and asked about my glasses and were told they were not in yet. A week later I called back and was told my glasses had been there for over a week. However, no one called me, and I was not given them when I was there for my appointment even though they apparently were available. Now I have to go back a third time to pick up the glasses. Finally, I told the front desk staff (very politely) that I wasn't happy with the customer service after all of this. *crickets*. Did not seem to care at all, and had nothing to say. Okay then...I will be finding another eye practice after all of this.
Dr Windham was very thorough with the exam and did a great job explaining what she was checking for with each test/procedure. Also, she took the time to answer all of my questions.
The last several visits, it's become obvious that employees are trained and or instructed to pad the bill . More interested in money than welfare of patients .
