We are sorry that you were unhappy after your phone call with our Service Department. You are correct, we do require all of our new and existing gas or oil heating customers have a service plan. These plans help us keep track of our heating customers and make sure we have adequate staff and equipment to continue serving them as we promise. The $198 charge does include an annual tune-up of the heating system and 20% off parts, so I would hardly call it a "SCAM." Again, we apologize that you were unhappy with your experience. We always try our best.

SCAM! Called for service, they said they would not even come look at our problem unless we signed up for their $198/year annual service plan! What kind of a company leaves people in distress needing a repair unless they pony up for a long-standing plan??? Don't use these charlatans.
I have never been so impressed with service as I was with the service I received over New Year's from Tony and everyone I interacted with at Kerivan-Lane. My career has been in service/support, and they far exceeded my expectations! I needed a new furnace (over New Years). They came to diagnose and had one the very next day. They removed my current furnace, and installed the new one, and dwere there as long as it took to get everything up and running. But, in addition, the communication throughout the experience was exceptional. They were in constant contact with an update as to status, when someone would arrive, and any additional information needed. I can't say enough positive things about this entire experience. I would highly recommend them to everyone!!
I called Kerivan-Lane inquiring about propane. We are set on oil. When speaking with the representative, he was very rude after trying to up-sell me several times. He was unwilling to offer a price for a propane delivery stating "thank you, not interested". If this is the customer service offered by this company, unwilling to even give a PRICE for their services, I would hesitate to work with them in any capacity. I am extremely dissatisfied and will not consider their services in the future.
