Mike, I am sorry that your experience with our organization wasnt what it should have been, a 5-star project. Customer satisfaction is incredibly important to us and we pride ourselves on providing high quality services with added value. I also want to thank you for sharing your experience so that we may address it. Below I address several points about our team, how we work, etc. And I would like to make it up to you, so that you too will be very happy with our work and our company. As such, I would like to offer you a generous 25% discount on your next project with us, to make it up to you. We will put you at the front of the queue and we will make sure you are 100% happy with the work we do, what it costs, etc. 1. Mike, we take great pride in our work and in our staff. We are very diligent in who we bring on to join our firm. The developer you worked with is a Microsoft Excel MVP, he has been for years, there are only about 130 of them in the entire world, and Microsoft certifies them as top tier Excel experts. They actually work closely with Microsoft and the Microsoft Excel team to make Excel even better than it already is. What they say does impact the most recent version of Microsoft Excel. One of our other long-term Microsoft Excel MVPs was actually recently hired by Microsoft to join their internal Excel team in Seattle, that is how good Microsoft Excel MVPs are. We have been a Microsoft Certified Partner or 25 years (Since 1994). We are always very proud to say that Microsoft has worked with this particular programmer, in addition to others, on our staff repeated times. The developer you worked with also has an 83% client repeat rate. 2. The Excel programmer that you worked with on your project has the greatest number of 5-star client testimonials for our entire company, well over 100 of them, from firms such as Microsoft, LinkedIn and Red Bull to name a few. We are sorry that you did not feel the same way. That is very important to us. We want our clients to be super happy. That is our aim. We want you to be 100% happy. 3. This was a fixed-bid project, I.E. fixed cost, which means it comes in on the quote you accepted. It was the same exact cost as you accepted and that you paid. There were no additional charges, not sure why you would write that, but quite the opposite, we gave a 15% discount to make you happy and to work with you. 4. On your project we did the work over the weekend, no extra charge for this, and we delivered prior to the designated deadline we were provided. 5. The work that was performed was the work determined in the free consultation. That was the spec of what was quoted and what was to be done. None of the things you now mention as missing were in the quote or even discussed as going to be part of this project. The scope is determined before the work is done, not after. It is what we use to come up with the cost estimate of the work. Sure, we can always change the work as your needs change, that is fairly common on larger projects, and we can make tweaks along, never is there a charge for tweaks. For things that are requested that are not part of the original quote, we are happy to quote this additional work and if you would like to have it done we quickly take care of that for you right away. We are always more than happy to do this Mike. Mike, I am sorry that you did not have the same experience as the thousands of clients that have worked with us over the past 25-years. We want you to be as happy as the rest. So Mike, come back to me the next time that you need help and we will happily give you a 25% discount to make it up to you. You can work with the same developer or a different one, whichever works best for you. We value you, your needs, your viewpoints and we would like to work with you again. Thank you once again for sharing your feedback with us. Christopher

Unfortunately cannot recommend. Despite assurances that their consultants were so good that even Microsoft used them, the company simply didn't deliver on time and on budget. They charged a hefty fee insisting this can only be done with macros/VBA (which they did not use!). They did not take steps to protect the original data set, refused to document their approach and methodology, and in general the consultant was rather resistant to doing more than the bare minimum. Ultimately hired another firm who was 1/5 the cost (!!!) and got not just the finished product in record time, but reusable macros/VBA, beautiful charts & graphs, and fully documented approach, and even a proposal to do it in Python instead of Excel! Also the consultant at this competing firm was a joy to work with.
Every few years someone will reach out for help, and during our efforts to assist them we will determine that this is not a person we would want to work with. It has only happened a few times in the past 20 years, in this case, repeated inappropriate business behavior by the potential client led us to decide it was best not to work with him. So we passed. I was routed directly to Christopher and Maria Fennell on October 26th, 2020 after calling in to Excel and Access, LLC with an urgent project. Apparently Christopher is the CEO and Maria is the Client Service Manager. I didnt have a terrible experience within our first few days of communication, but after they came to my first zoom meeting unprepared (after I had sent them substantial information regarding my project to review in advance of the meeting), I was setup for a 2nd meeting the following week. The 2nd meeting went well until the contractor quoted me a price, and then immediately following the meeting, Christopher emailed me telling me he could not fulfill the project based on a comment I had made about how I appreciated the price quoted on our call. He proceeded to tell me they could not honor the price and I pressed him to give me the price he could honor. Over the next 3 email exchanges after asking him multiple times, he refused to give me ANY PRICE for the work and decided instead to treat me with derision and condescension. He knew I had already waited 2 weeks on an urgent project to get to this point and he decided, for no apparent reason to anyone involved (including his Contractor on the same email chain), to refuse me service. He gave a canned email reply saying thank you for your interest in us and closed it off. Based on my experience: A) DO NOT expect a rational response from this Company B) DO NOT expect to be treated fairly or with any level of consideration in the end C) DO NOT expect your time and directions to be followed clearly D) DO NOT trust them with your time This was an awful experience and I am now 2 weeks behind on a project that absolutely needed to be completed a week ago for the health of my Company.
Jonathan, you made our week, and it is only Monday morning ;-) Likewise, it was a pleasure working with you. And I agree, we are not the cheapest, but like those middle of the market car made in Asia, we offer value, reliable, and timely solutions. That is why we work 364. Most of my competitors take nights, weekends, and holidays off, we don;t because we work when are clients work, and most of them work around the clock. Why make them wait. And unlike our competitors, I the founder and owner am still the first point of contact. Just like Sam, I am a critical component of quality. And I work as much as and as hard and smart as our team of experts. You see why Jacob has a client repeat rate of 83%. The competition can't touch him.

You know that feeling you get when you realize that what you want Excel to do for you and what the people who work with you can do with Excel don't match up? You spend most of the time doing or waiting for the manual entry that the complaints about it seem to be a part of the job. Then it happens, a mistake that will cost you hours due to manual entry or shoddy VBA work. Here is my review of Excel and Access LLC... Hire them! They are not the cheapest, but they are very reasonably priced, extremely quick with both responses and turnaround time, and a overall pleasure to work with. I can definitely say that there will not be another outsourced Excel job without at the minimum including E&A in the process. I expect and hope they win the bid every time! I have worked with freelancers both individual and agencies for years and can say that E&A fall in the fabled Top 1% category. Hiring them was the most stress free outsourced process I have ever gone through. For an Owner Chris is amazingly hands on, he and Jacob takes your hair-pulling frustrations in stride and deal with them with apparent (and enviable) ease. To come full circle, having these guys in your corner makes you start thinking of what you WANT Excel to do. :) 5/5
Randy, we are excited to read your review. It shows how quickly and easily we can help clients, even for smaller needs such as yours. No matter the size of the project nor the size of the company, we give each the same effort as small projects are a large part of our business. We are always glad that we can usually help people the same day they reach out. Not very many companies do that, so we like to focus on it. We look forward to working with you the next time you need help with any of the Microsoft applications, including Power BI. Thank you Randy. Christopher Excel and Access, LLC 877-392-3539

I had a complicated Excel worksheet problem.....a couple emails and 24 hours later a perfect working model. I will be using them again and advertising their service to anybody who needs that type of work done !
Thank you Sy for the kind words regarding our work. It was our pleasure to work over the weekend, we wanted to get this in your hands as quickly as possible. Your project was another example of how many clients use both the Windows version of Excel and the Mac version of Excel. It is so common these days, and being very familiar with the code differences is critical. Glad to be able to help you out. We really enjoyed working with you on this. Thank you for the opportunity. Excel and Access is fantastic. They created an excel add in that will save our business so much time and energy. Christopher and Ian were very responsive to emails and worked over the weekend to make sure we were happy with the product. I would recommend that any small business who can't afford a custom system should use Excel and Access for all their data processing needs!
