Nice selection of wood furniture. The man who works there is terribly unfriendly so it did not make for a pleasant shopping experience. He would not even acknowledge the customer. IF you want help ask to speak to one of the girls--he is like a corpse.

The owner of the store is rude because he doesn't know how to talk to his customers over the phone and always may made excuses he was with a customer and also never calls you back and he said that he called the factory. How he talks to his customers "whatever." I don't recommend this place to anyone. He is rude and he doesn't tell you the total information when the estimate when the furniture is coming and he wl tell you 10 days and instead of telling you it takes longer.

I have done two projects with Tony and both were beautiful! One project was very tricky and they were able to install the cabinets below the existing top cabinets, with perfect matching. It involves multiple visits and fine tuning, and the final product was absolutely one complete piece of art! The installers were extremely careful - on both perfect installation and keeping my apartment pristine. I will certainly continue working with Tony for any future customized projects.

I went to this store based on the rave reviews I saw hereand, unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. For what its worth, I will share what appears to be a (nearly) lone negative review in the hopes that it helps someone. In recent weeks, I have had quite a challenging time finding a rustic, farmhouse wardrobe and sideboard for my Manhattan apartment. I very much desire pieces of high quality that are made of solid wood and are delivered already assembled. I went to Gothic Furniture with a clear idea in mind for pieces I wanted to have built. I walked in with solid measurements, ready to buy and pay a significant amount of money. Much to my surprise, however, the man in the shop made no move to say hello, offer any assistance, or even come over to answer any questions I had about the pieces I was looking at. Meanwhile, the furniture on the floor display looked rather flimsy and of poor quality. For instance, a gentlemans armoire had a thin sliding door that rattled and shook on its track. Moreover, the door to a corner cabinet stuck and wouldnt open-to the point where it started to tip over and forward. A definite hazard to a full grown person, not to mention children. Ive still not found a great furniture place in the area that sells rustic/farmhouse/shabby chic pieces, but this store definitely isnt it!
